- Date: Mar 08, 2020 until Mar 13, 2020
- Location: Spindleruv Mlyn (Czech Republic)
We are pleased to announce that for the year 2020 all institutes of the department of Mathematics are invited, hoping for an intense and vivid interdisciplinary collaboration. The seminar combines scientific work on new topics with winter activities.
In the year 2020, we decided again for the place Spindleruv Mlyn in the Czech Republic, the largest ski resort in the Giant Mountains. More specifically, the seminar will take place in the pension Happy House, just a short walk from the lift. The apartments can accommodate 2 or 4 people. The pension also offers a sauna, billard, table football and table tennis, so plenty of other activities are also possible. The cost is about 40,-€ per person and night including breakfast. The dinner is traditionally prepared in cooking groups to promote another aspect of cooperation.
The scientific work will be in small groups of about 4 people during the afternoon, the topics can be chosen freely by the participants. To encourage cooperation, each group should consist of members of at least two different institutes.
For further questions feel free to contact us. We look forward to a lively participation!
